Tina Searcy lives to give back to her community; she says helping others is what brings her the greatest joy. In her role heading up Customer Success in San Diego, California. Tina has experienced the perfect balance between growth and giving back – and she’s used her grace and empathy through it all.

A worthwhile career

Tina Searcy grew up with an acute understanding that every person is equal. Observing the disparity between the haves and have-nots, she was inspired to work hard and improve not only her life, but those of other people around the world. 

Two careers spanning the corporate and not-for-profit (NFP) sector later, she says she’s finally able to use her compassionate nature and sharp customer service skills to create change in society.

A natural extrovert, Tina is in her element in her Customer Success role with us. As a one-person department, she’s a powerhouse; she connects and builds meaningful relationships with our customers, while collaborating between teams to provide the best outcomes. 

“I ensure our customers are satisfied and that they have a great experience with our product. In my role, I’m the customer’s advocate – but I’m also the defender of our company and our revenue. I pride myself on taking a customer-centric approach, valuing relationships over transactions at all times. By working with empathy and understanding in every interaction, I help build and foster customer loyalty and partnership.”

At the heart of everything she does, Tina holds tight to her love for working with purpose – something that was instilled in her by her father-in-law during college. In fact, her passion for helping others inspired the leap of faith which brought her to Linewize.

Touched by tech

Tina gained her first experiences in NFP and volunteer work while studying a Human Services degree in Fresno, California. As a volunteer, she saw many things that changed her perception of the world… But it was while serving on the board for an anti-human trafficking organization that she realized how the Internet was enabling a new generation of criminal.

Shortly after becoming inspired to pursue her interest in cyber safety, Tina and her family moved to San Diego. There, she began a program that assists people interested in breaking into a career in tech. 

“I wondered how I could use my sales skills to work for a tech organization with a mission. That’s how I first heard about Linewize. Something clicked when I read about their services. I thought, ‘This is the experience I’m looking for!’”

After 18 months with us, Tina says she’s thrilled to be working in a role where she can use her relationship-building skills for good, every day. And as a mother, she is continuously inspired to ensure our customers have the best experience with our software.

“It feels amazing to work on the frontline of an organization that is growing at an accelerated rate. And the reason we do it is to ensure our children are kept safe. I have always told my son that a person should use their gifts and talents to give back and make a difference – and he’s watching me practice what I preach.”

Ready for anything

Tina says working with us has allowed her to transition into an exciting career in an organization on the cutting edge of tech. And she loves treating our customers like VIPs every day. 

Tina feels a sense of pride in her decision to step away from what she knew, to experience something new. And she feels ready to embrace anything alongside us.

“I come to work every day knowing that by rolling out the red carpet and genuinely connecting with our customers, I’m contributing to the bigger picture. It’s all about adding value to their experience and ensuring our customers are happy with our solutions. I love using my product knowledge to keep their unique learning environment infrastructure in place. I genuinely believe in our mission. And not only does it inspire me, it deeply motivates me.”
